This little seal pup was rescued from our beach last year, was released back out into the wild, and he's doing fine.
Our lodge is old, weatherbeaten, and rustic- but cared for with love, and clean!! If you don't need fancy, if you like to see the water right out your door, and if you love seaside wildlife, Coho Lodge is your place. Ask around- not many places on Orcas are right on a low bank, accessible, beach. Make a campfire on the seashore if you like, and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets over the water. Or just let the day float by as you sit on your waterfront deck and watch the saliboats go by.
We are centrally located- a mile out of Eastsound (the main town on Orcas, with lots of restautants and shopping) but in a quiet and private neighborhood. We are 20 minutes from Moran State Park: a beautiful place to hike, picnic, or canoe.
